Yet thermal mass dryers with 13X molecular sieve suitable for relatively modest compressed air with 13X molecular sieve capacities of 17 to 20 m³/min are extremely heavy, weighing some 850 kilos. Until recently, larger systems had to be equipped with digital scroll systems and were precluded from benefiting from the advantages of thermal mass dryers with 13X molecular sieve.
